Exploring Mission Shaped Communities: Short book exploring the role of mission-shaped communities in the Church

Drawn from Andy’s MA dissertation, this book explores Mission Shaped Communities as a model in Church practice, examining their contribution to discussions around Church, mission and context. It uses Kairos Network Church in Harrogate as a case study for some of this exploration.

Mission-shaped communities, or mid-sized communities, as termed by Mike Breen and Bob Hoskins in the their book, Clusters, are defined as “larger than cells/small groups and smaller than celebrations, which grow together in their relationship to God as they explore relevant, whole life spirituality.”

This short book explores the role of mission-shaped communities in the Church, with particular reference to Kairos Network Church in Harrogate. It was written by Andy Wilson, Director of RolltheRock.
